From Reunion Island, we have developed Mauritius, Madagascar and Mayotte, island territories which have everything to gain from being avant-garde. More than 100 employees work directly. or in our JVs in this area where GreenYellow is a leader in solar energy with more than 70MW achieved. Our ambition in the area is strong. Our design office for the Indian Ocean area, based in Madagascar, is increasing its skills and is already working for other countries around the world."

Energy transition and sustainable development 

We work for the fundamentals of energy transition and more generally sustainable development. This is the purpose that drives all the teams of GreenYellow Indian Ocean on a daily basis, all of whom are committed to a better world.

GreenYellow responds directly to two sustainable development objectives through the core of our businesses:

- Number 7: Clean energy at an affordable cost

- Number 13: Measures relating to the fight against climate change

A societal commitment 

GreenYellow Indian Ocean pays particular attention to being as close as possible to the territories of the Indian Ocean, we wish to support local populations and institutions. In all of our projects, local businesses are involved.

For example, in Madagascar, around the 20 MWp Ambatolampy power plant, actions have been concerted to support the development of urban areas but also rural areas by inviting farmers in the region to mow the grass that is under the solar panels to feed their cattle.

Ethics and compliance 

Ethical values ​​are at the heart of the Casino group's strategy and its development. The Group considers that acting with integrity, fairness and honesty is a key component of lasting success.

In addition to the 9 principles of the Ethics Charter, a Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, deployed within the Group, specifies the rules of conduct, the principles of action and the ethical obligations that each employee must observe in all circumstances in the daily exercise of their activities.  Each employee is expected to act in strict accordance with the laws and regulations, demonstrate loyalty and honesty and behave with exemplary professional ethics.

We share the group's requirements with all employees, particularly those issued from the Sapin II law.
